1953 Eureka Cadillac Funeral Flower Car

This 1953 Cadillac flower car with coachwork by Eureka is the only one left to exist.  With "Eastern" flower car styling, that being with a stainless steel deck, it was built for the Stan Winowicz Funeral Home of Trenton, New Jersey.     Western flower car styling does not include the stainless deck, and more resembles a Chevy El Camino or Ford Ranchero.    The car was ultimately purchased by RF & Georgia Parsons of Clarendon Hills, Illinois.    Mr. and Mrs. Parsons took loving care of the car for many years, and drove it to many car shows, several of which were over 600 miles from their home.
I befriended RF & Georgia in 1988 and stayed close ever since.    In 1999, with the promise of continued exquisite care, RF & Georgia agreed to sell the flower car to me.    It continues on the car show circuit, most noteably at the 2002 Cadillac Centennial,
held as part of the Cadillac LaSalle Club Nationals  in Dearborn, Michigan.
